Town and Country Housing framework

‘Framework providers will be working with both Town and Country Housing and their subsidiary company Monson Homes Limited. SEC on behalf of Town and Country Housing/Monson Homes Limited are tendering the framework which will run for 4 years.’

The framework is divided into three lots covering architecture, employer’s agent and planning consultancy services. The architect lot is valued at £1.5 million at fees and will involve feasibility studies, RIBA Stages 0-3 and RIBA stage 4 (technical design).

Recently completed projects by Monson Homes – a subsidiary of Town and Country Housing Group – include a £7.8 million development of 44 new dwellings on Dittons Road in Stone Cross, Kent.

According to the brief: ‘Town and Country Housing are procuring the development consultancy services framework to provide consultant expertise as part of their development plans for building new homes.

Founded in 2007, Town and Country Housing is a subsidiary of the Peabody Group which is responsible for managing more than 10,000 homes spread across 15 local authorities in Kent and Sussex.

Bids for inclusion on the latest framework will be evaluated 60 per cent on quality and 40 per cent on cost.
